Brad Pitt Didn’t Slam Tom Cruise Movie – Rumor Busting

Brad Pitt’s manager has denied reports that the actor was critical of Tom Cruise’s nazi flick Valkyrie, after numerous gossip sites quoted Pitt as calling the film “ridiculous” in an alleged German interview.

brad-pitt-warner-brosWhen the conversation with Stern magazine turned to Cruise’s Valkyrie, Pitt allegedly says, “It was a ridiculous movie.”

However, his manager has debunked the story, telling Usmagazine, “Brad has never seen VALKYRIE so this is NOT accurate.”

Pitt was quoted as saying , “The second World War could still deliver more stories and films. But I believe that Quentin [Tarantino] put a cover on that pot. With Basterds, everything than can be said to this genre has been said. The film destroys every symbol. The work is done, end of story.”
