Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie Split 'Wouldn't Be A Surprise'

A body language expert has said she would not be surprised if Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie split up.

Judi James, author of The Body Language Bible, said the couple looked uncomfortable at the Los Angeles premiere of Pitt's new movie Inglourious Basterds this week.

“Judging by the poses they have done recently I’m quite surprised they are still together,” she told the Daily Star.

“In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if they split up soon.”

James said the couple put on “very badly choreographed togetherness signals” at the premiere.

“There’s an air of tension in her body language with both of her elbows raised,” she said.

“When they hold hands the hand clasp is particularly unpleasant. It looks like he’s trying to display affection but he has hold of her wrist as if to lead her along rather than showing a tie signal.”

James added: “I have never seen massively good signals from this couple and this is probably the most difficult togetherness pose I have seen from them.”

In contrast, James said pictures of Pitt chatting to Rachel McAdams at the New York premiere of Time Traveller’s Wife the following day showed him more relaxed.

“He seems quite youthful and fun-loving – but you never see that side of him when he’s with Angelina,” James said.
